Our Cross-Contamination Mitigation Method:
- A complete change of new and clean PPE and equipment is undertaken.
- The workstation and its surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using hot soapy water and BS EN 1276 approved disinfectants.
- Thorough and proper handwashing technique using hot water and soap lasting no less than 2 minutes.
- The staff member will then fill the customer’s bag/jar/bucket with our premixed gluten free mixture of sweets.
This premixed mixture is made up by our Warehouse Manager at the beginning of every week and utilises the same sweets every time. Before, the ingredients of each sweet used is double-checked to ensure they have not changed without our notice. This mixture is also separately stored from the rest of our stock and is clearly labelled to state that it is gluten free.
- Lastly, the bag/jar/bucket is sealed and handed over to the parcelling station to be sent out with Royal Mail.
The staff member at the parcelling station will also take a note of which staff member and station was used in the making of the order.
